Turn- key status takes some thought & effort. Over the past fifteen years owners of Whirlaway have had JBY techs perform the following upgrades:
New refrigeration, new engine, new generator, new tankage, new plumbing, centerboard services, new hatches, new interior varnish, rock-steady exterior varnish, & Awlgrip the rig.
In lieu of an intense refit, they have carefully planned all this work at a sensible and steady pace, never to interrupt their sailing plans and only doing what was immediately necessary.
