Full twelve month/4000 labor hours comprehensive refit performed by all JBY Departments and select subcontractors.
JBY Mechanical either serviced, repaired, or replaced all systems, highlights to include: Removal of tankage, cleaning/de-scaling bilges & mast/keel. Extensive services & upgrades to main engine, generator, bow-thruster, seacocks/strainers & related plumbing hardware, sanitation systems, stove system, extensive wiring, batteries & charging, and steering system overhaul.
JBY Rigging serviced all deck hardware, hydraulics, furling systems, & centerboard system. Replaced the rod & running rigging.
JBY Paint & Glass performed a complete osmotic blister repair to hull, impact damage interior/exterior fiberglass repairs to topsides, Awlgrip to topsides, cabinhouse stripe, binnacle and spars.
JBY Carpentry replaced the teak decks, extensive interior joinery to access above works & for new electronics installations. Hatch repairs, interior hardware repairs or replacement.
JBY Varnish coated the entire interior.
Select subcontractors included new electronics, heating & refrigeration systems repairs/upgrades.
