Confetti originally came to JBY to escape the BVI after Hurricane Irma. Although the damages she incurred were relatively minor, her owners jumped on the opportunity when space became available on a Seven-Star transport ship as the prospects of repairs after such devastation in the Caribbean weren’t exactly promising. After taking care of her “bumps and bruises” her owners’ confidence in JBY soared and thus decided their new found craftsmen in Jamestown should perform the refit & upgrade tasks that were inevitable. New teak decks, new electronics, newly upgraded wiring, batteries, and charging systems, new electronics, varnish, bow-thruster, custom davits, to name a few. Cost them a year, but worth the wait, should be good for the next 30+ years.
