Benefitting from her classic lines drawn in 1963 and steady recent dosages of JBY craftsmanship, Great Eagle is one of those boats referred to as a “head-turner.”
Cosmetically the entire interior has been re-painted, her toerails replaced and hull painted in tandem. All exterior brightwork has been stained in classic rich mahogany fashion, and receives fresh coats of varnish annually.
Her engine was replaced from a gasoline driven Atomic 4 to a new diesel powered Yanmar which involved a little more geometry & design than one would think.
