The owners of Nai’a have been longtime customers of Jamestown Boat Yard. As liveaboards, they divide their time between Newport in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter. Over the years, Nai’a has received numerous upgrades and meticulous care from nearly every department at JBY.

Services Utilized by Department:

Carpentry, Mechanical, Paint & Glass

Carpentry Projects:

Teak decks refurbished with re-seaming and recaulking. Joinery repaired and upgraded.

Rigging Projects:

New Boom and sail control hardware.

Paint & Glass Projects:

Awlgrip repaired. Cove Stripes Painted. Transom door repaired and painted.

Mechanical Projects:

Generator replaced; lower rudder bearing, engine, and bow thruster serviced; and new windlass, washer-dryer, and air-conditioning chiller installed, along with a conversion to lithium batteries.
