JULES first came to JBY in 2019 with a clear vision: to be a competitive offshore racing machine that could transition easily into a comfortable summer cruiser among the Elizabeth Islands. Since then, JBY has managed her ongoing evolution, refits, and annual maintenance.
Services Utilized by Department:
Carpentry Projects:
Replaced teak decks, toe rails, custom joinery, and interior modifications.
Rigging Projects:
Installed a new mast with two booms for convertibility between racing and cruising modes. Intalled a new bowsprit, and custom Harken winch package.
Paint & Glass Projects:
Awlgrip Topsides, Racing Bottom, Repainted Cabin House, New Stern with Name, retrofit new JP3 Rudder bearing. Yearly Varnish work.
Mechanical Projects:
Installed New Generator, push-button hydraulics, Electronics, and Helm Control Panel.
