DESTINY
In 2006, DESTINY’s owner contacted JBY with questions about his Swan 46. Confident in the team’s expertise, he trucked the boat from Tampa to Jamestown—with its 8.5-foot keel—in the middle of a snowy winter for a refit ahead of the Swan Regatta. He liked Rhode Island so much that he stayed. 20 years later DESTINY has gone from Maine to the Caribbean but is still home at JBY. Yearly the boat has gone through thoughtful upgrades that have involved every department and has touched every aspect of the boat.

New teak decks, hatches, deck layout. Interior joinery and custom projects to suit systems.
New mast, rod, standing rigging, and electric winches for major sail controls.
Topsides and spars refinished in Awlgrip, mast and keel grid descaled and recoated, and new name and hail port installed.
New engine, generator, solar panels, batteries, stove, and sanitation systems, plus rudder bearing repairs and ongoing systems upgrades.
